If the unthinkable happens and you don’t pass the IE first time after we have recommended you should go, then we make the offer to refresh any knowledge areas you need, put you in for a second IE in Dahab, and because we believe our IDC is the best available, we will pay for the refresh and the IE retake for you. Want to learn about the PADI system of Diver Education and gain additional experience as a PADI Professional, you next two steps are PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). Open Water Diver
This course is your first step in becoming an undersea explorer. This course is designed to give you all of the basic knowledge and skills required to dive safely anywhere in the world.

During this course we will guide you through dive theory so you understand the reasons why we do some of the things that we do when completing our in water training.

Advanced Open Water
Now you have mastered the basic skills of scuba diving it is time to learn a little more about some of the various activities we can participate in while diving.

During the Advanced Open Water course you are going to learn how not to get lost underwater as there is nothing more annoying after a great dive than a long surface swim. Then we are going to take you down to between 18 and 30 metres and make you aware of the effects pressure has on our bodies. Both these dive are always fun.

Rescue Diver
Ever wondered what you would do if there was an accident? How about we show you and have some fun at the same time.

Our course runs over three days where you will participate in scenarios where you will get to play the part of the victim and the rescuer. This will be the best course you have participated in and we guarantee you that by the end of the three days you will be exhausted but equiped to handle anything.

Nitrox Diver
Want to dive for longer?? Why not learn how to use Nitrox and extend your bottom time. Don’t forget to bring your buddy for this one as its no good if they can’t stay down there with you.

Our program runs over 1 to 2 nights depending on how quickly you pick up on the tables and then it off to the ocean for two dives using two different Nitrox Mixes.

PADI Assistant Instructor Course (AI)

During the Assistant Instructor Course you will learn about the Standards of the PADI teaching system. We will show you how to give teaching presentations in the classroom, confined water and open water. The goals for you in the AI course are:

* To learn about standards and courses you can teach as an Assistant Instructor.
* To fine-tune the quality of your demonstrations of the 20 basic skills from the skill circuit.
* To join a Rescue Workshop.
* To successfully pass an exam in the AI Standards Exam.
* To participate in a 800 Metre snorkel swim.

Additionally, we offer the following Workshops:

* CESA (Controlled Emergancy Swimming Ascent)
* Lifting Bag
* Knots
* AWARE
* National Geographic
* e-Learning

After successfully completing this course, you will earn the rating of a PADI Assistant Instructor. Completing the AI course allows you to join us on the second part of the program (OWSI).

We offer the PADI AI course outside of the IDC schedule. You will find here more information about it.

If you are already a PADI Assistant Instructor (AI), you only need to join the second part of the IDC, the OWSI program. However, we would like to invite you for the full IDC. We have a special offer for this.

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI)

During the OWSI programs you will learn how to fine tune your teaching abilities. You will have the opportunity to give further teaching presentations in the classroom, confined water and open water.

We will explain to you, in detail, all of the standards and courses, starting from the Open Water Diver course, including the Specialty courses up to the Divemaster course. You will get the chance to get practical experience in these courses.

We will also look into legal risk management. As well we will discus marketing and business. Another area we will look at is adaptive teaching.

The goals of the OWSI are:

* To fine-tune the quality of your demonstrations of the 20 basic skills from the skill circuit.
* To successfully pass an exam in the five topics of the diving theory.
* To participate in an “Adventure in Diving Workshop”.
* To participate in a “Discover Scuba Diving Workshop”

Additionally, we offer the following Workshops an:

* Ascent – Descent
* CESA (Controlled Emergancy Swimming Ascent)
* Rescue
* AWARE
* Navigation
* National Geographic
* e-Learning

After successfully completing the OWSI program you will be qualified to join the Instructor exam. After completing the IDC, you will get our special National Geographic T-Shirt as a gift and you can wear it during the Instructor exam with the rest of your classmates.

Our PADI Dive Instructor Development Course (PADI IDC) is desinged to maximise your employment potential as a diving instructor. We are so confident in our program that if you don’t pass, we will invite you to do a second PADI IDC and IE with us for free.

We offer both part time and full time options for this program.

The program we offer is the NEW 2010 release of the PADI IDC. When registering for your IDC make sure you check that they are using the latest release with the NEW PADI online e-training.
